formalities, meet your guide and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.

Overnight in Thimphu.

Altitude: Punakha 1,300 m

Drive over the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100 m) with views of the Himalayas ranges.
Descend into the subtropical Punakha Valley.
In Punakha:
 Chimi Lhakhang
 Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu
rivers
 Short walk to the Suspension Bridge
 Explore Punakha town and Kaja Throm

Overnight in Punakha.

After breakfast, drive back west to Paro via Dochula Pass.
On arrival in Paro:  Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples
 Explore Paro town and local handicraft shops
Evening free to relax and prepare for the festival.

Festival Highlights:
 Sacred masked dances (Cham) performed by monks and lay dancers
 Colorful traditional costumes and live folk music
 Local families dressed in their finest ghos and kiras
 Deep spiritual atmosphere and communal celebration
Optional evening walk around Paro town.

Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Lhakhang):
 Hike time: approx. 5 hours round trip
 Elevation: 3,120 meters
 One of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the Himalayas
Lunch at the viewpoint cafeteria with majestic view the monastery.
After descent:
 Optional visit to Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong)
 Optional Hot stone Bath at firm House (additional cost applies)

Altitude: Haa 2,670 m

Drive to the picturesque Haa Valley via Chele La Pass (3,988 m)—Bhutan’s highest motorable
pass, offering stunning mountain views.
In Haa Valley:
 Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple)
 Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple)
 Scenic valley walks and village exploration
Return to Paro in the evening.
